Get kids excited about vegetables by learning to grow their own food! During this fun hands-on event we will guide kids through planting their own take home garden pot. Learn about container growing, harvesting, and nutrition importance from the Salmon Center team and firefighters from the North Mason Regional Fire Authority. Kids will take home their own planted seeds with a handout on how to care for their vegetables.

Planting will begin at 10am and materials are first come, first served. No sign ups required.

A special snack, featuring a local plant, will be provided!
