Funds awarded through these grants will support Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group (HSCEG) environmental education efforts and field based learning at the Theler wetlands in Belfair, WA. Grants are $5,000 awards for schools to use for teacher professional development at HCSEG’s Pacific Education Institute Workshops, bussing and transportation to the Theler Center and wetlands for HCSEG hosted field trips, and/or substitute teacher costs to support these field trips. Eligible applicants include schools in Mason, Jefferson, and Kitsap counties.

• Grant funds are to be used between October 20, 2024 and June 1, 2026
