Join us to learn about gardening! We’ll guide you through a season of growing, from planning your garden to picking seeds and keeping your soil healthy. Classes will include a presentation, discussion, and hands on activities (some may take place outside).

Session 3 / Sustainable Garden Practices

Today we’ll learn about no dig gardening; organic gardening; gardening without synthetics; pest management; soil health and composting; and other sustainable gardening tricks.

Ever wanted to save seeds from your plants to grow next year? Now’s the time to learn! You’ll gain the background knowledge you need to understand seed saving, and the practical steps you can take to save your own seeds. (We recommend this class if you would like to participate in the Salmon Center Seed Library!)
