Volunteer at a planting party with HCSEG! We will be planting native shrubs and conifers in critical salmon habitat around the Hood Canal watershed.
Removing invasive plant species and bringing in more native varieties has helped our local ecosystems bounce back and develop healthy habitats for salmon once more. If you are looking for ways to really make a positive impact on your local environment, improving salmon habitat is one of the best ways you can personally take action to help restore threatened Pacific Northwest salmon species.
Please wear warm clothes, boots, and work gloves!
Hot drinks (Coffee and tea), and snacks will be provided.
