Duckabush Estuary Education Tours

The Estuary Education Tour series returns to the Duckabush this summer with a new lineup of guests presenting on a wide variety of science topics. From May – September, join us on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month to learn how the Duckabush estuary will be transformed through restoration.

Meet at the WDFW Duckabush River Access parking lot. The walking tour will involve some short, steep trail approaches and uneven ground, so come prepared with sturdy walking shoes and whatever gear you need to be comfortable. Don’t forget sun protection and water!

You’re Invited!

Join us for a casual potluck following our final Estuary Education Tour to celebrate the salmon returning to the Duckabush River. Bring a dish to share, meet your neighbors, and chat about the Duckabush Estuary Restoration Project with project staff.

Old time dance tunes and bluegrass music will be provided by the Old Time Fiddlers! You’re also invited to bring your own instrument and join in.
