| "The Dance" a bronze sculpture caste from a cedar carving by Wild Salmon enthusiast Al Adams. The sculpture will be the centerpiece of Salmon Hall of Fame. A smaller version of the sculpture is given to the inductees as an appreciation award for their efforts in Wild Salmon recovery |
The purpose of the Wild Salmon Hall of Fame is to honor and celebrate individuals and/or teams who have demonstrated over time actions that have inspired and which continue to guide a passion for the preservation and recovery of abundant and diverse Wild Salmon populations throughout the Pacific Northwest. (Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho)
Criteria:
Demonstrates a passion for Wild Salmon either in their career or volunteer work
Enhances public knowledge and appreciation of Wild Salmon
Creates a tangible, measurable outcome such as a book, artwork, event, or significant project, etc.
The Wild Salmon Hall of Fame honors a new inductee annually with nominations accepted from across the Pacific Northwest.
